Course Overview
This course provides comprehensive knowledge and practical skills essential for understanding broadband connectivity and troubleshooting common issues. Participants will delve into network topologies, broadband network elements, gateways, TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnet masks, Ethernet and MAC addresses, IPv4, IPv6, and their applications in broadband connectivity. They will learn to configure customer premises equipment (CPE) and execute basic commands to test and verify connectivity.
Course Objective

- Configure Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) effectively.
- Execute basic commands such as ping and ipconfig for testing and verifying connectivity.
- Understand acceptable round-trip time for IP packets and other connectivity confirmation commands.

- Set up LAN/WiFi connectivity with CPE.
- Analyze test results of connectivity and throughput parameters to detect issues/errors.
- Perform speed tests and record data throughputs to demonstrate successful installation and connectivity.

- Access CPE settings using default login credentials and configure as per base settings.
